Here are the details of various planetary conjunctions that occurred in recent times, along with dates and times. Additionally, the details of natural disasters that occurred during or after these conjunctions are also provided. The dates and times given here are according to Indian Standard Time.
Ashta graha Conjunction
From 5:50 PM on February 3, 1962, to 5:46 PM on February 5, 1962, this Ashta graha conjunction occurred in Capricorn. During this time, Rahu was in Cancer, while all other planets were in Capricorn. No significant natural disasters occurred after this Ashta graha conjunction. However, significant political changes happened in many countries some time after this conjunction. These changes did not occur immediately.
Pancha graha Conjunction
On January 10, 1994, at 3:58 AM, the Pancha graha conjunction began with the Moon entering Sagittarius and ended the same day at 12:27 PM with Mercury moving into Capricorn. A week after this conjunction, on January 17, 1994, a major earthquake with a magnitude of 6.7 occurred in the Los Angeles area in the USA.
Pancha graha and Shad graha Conjunction
On May 3, 2000, at 12:01 AM, the Shad graha conjunction began with the Moon entering Aries and ended on May 5, 2000, at 1:51 AM with the Moon moving into Taurus. Along with the Moon, the Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn were in Aries during this period. Even though the Moon moved from Aries to Taurus, the Pancha graha conjunction that began with the Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn on April 27, 2000, at 5:51 AM ended on May 11, 2000, at 4:51 PM with Mercury moving from Aries to Taurus.
During this Shad graha conjunction, a major earthquake with a magnitude of 7.6 occurred in Sumatra, Indonesia on May 4.
Pancha graha, Shad graha, and Sapta graha Conjunction
On April 26, 2002, at 5:50 AM, Mercury moved into Taurus, beginning this Pancha graha conjunction with Rahu, Mercury, Mars, Venus, and Saturn. This conjunction transitioned into a Shad graha conjunction on May 12, 2002, at 8:48 PM with the Moon entering Taurus. Then, on May 15, 2002, at 4:48 AM, the Sun entered Taurus, forming a Sapta graha conjunction. This reverted to a Shad graha conjunction on the same day at 5:44 AM with the Moon moving into Gemini. On the same day, at 4:49 PM, Venus moved into Gemini, reverting it to a Pancha graha conjunction. Finally, on May 19, 2002, at 11:12 AM, Mars moved into Gemini, concluding this Pancha graha conjunction.
A major earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 occurred in Afghanistan a day before this Pancha graha conjunction began.
